Journey to the USA!
Hi Friends, Let's see if any of the following will make sense after the three hours sleep I got last night. Poor dad had to emerge to leave the house 3:45am, which i'm sure is the time most of my friends in Bristol would have been heading to bed - absolute legends in the west of England ;))). Kudos to him though, he had prepared a flask of tea, with proper mugs, as well as one banana and apple each to compliment our little road trip to Heathrow. Skip to boarding the flight... You know when the flight attendants shut all the over head lockers. I remember having a split second recognition that one of the lockers did not seem to have clicked in properly. Well, as the engines were blaring, and we were flung back in our seats during takeoff, that same locker dropped open. In what felt like slow motion, juxtaposed by the rapidly accelerating plane, the luggage that was sat on top of the heavier suitcases was edging towards falling.
